Each week, this newsletter will keep families informed about important dates, school activities, and special opportunities for students. Our goal is to ensure you have all the details you need to support your child’s learning and engagement on campus. Stay tuned and stay involved as we soar through another fantastic week together!

September 30th - Reading Benchmark (3rd-8th)

October 1st - ROSA Spirit Day

October 2nd - 5th & 8th Grade Science Benchmark

October 6th - Math Benchmark (3rd-8th)

October 9th - Early Dismissal at 12 pm

Clubs This Week

Tuesday, September 29th: Descendants, Athletic, Drumline, Chess, Volleyball, Aladdin Rehearsal

Wednesday, September 30th: Descendants, Pottery, Drumline, Physics STEM, Glitter & Glitz, K-3 Dance, Cursive, Ukulele

Thursday, October 1st: Descendants, Athletic, Crafts, Games & Activities, Aladdin Rehearsal

Most clubs dismiss at 4 pm, unless otherwise communicated by club leaders.

Volleyball dismisses at 4:30 pm.

Parents should arrive in the car rider line no later than 4 pm with their car rider tag visible to pick up their student.

Program Choice Applications

Program Choice applications open this Thursday, October 1st. If your child currently attends ROSA through Program Choice, you do not need to fill out another application for next year unless your child is a 5th grader.

If your child is a 5th grader and you would like for them to stay at ROSA for middle school, you must take action and fill out a Program Choice application.

Upcoming Benchmark Testing: Grades 3–8

Students in grades 3 through 8 will participate in benchmark testing to help teachers understand their progress and plan instruction.

Please mark your calendars:

Wednesday, September 30: Reading
Friday, October 2: Science (5th and 8th grades only)
Tuesday, October 6: Math

Help your child feel prepared by encouraging a good night’s sleep, a healthy breakfast, and arriving at school on time.

Join the Concord Middle School Santa Scramble Team!

Concord Middle School has created a group for Concord’s Santa Scramble 5K, and the school with the most registrations will win $1,000!

Staff, students, families, friends, future CMS families, and former CMS families are all invited to participate. When registering, be sure to select the Concord Middle School group so your registration counts toward the competition.
