Thursday, September 17th: K-3 Performance, Athletic, Crafts, Aladdin

Clubs dismiss at 4 pm, unless otherwise communicated by club leaders. Parents should arrive in the car rider line no later than 4 pm with their car rider tag visible to pick up their student.

Attendance Matters!

Showing up matters and we’re making attendance fun! Join us for Attendance Spirit Week by participating in each day’s theme:

🎨 Make Your Mark Monday, 9/14: Wear your ROSA gear.

✨ Show Up & Shine Bright Tuesday, 9/15: Wear neon or bright colors.

💤 Dream Big, But Don’t Sleep In Wednesday, 9/16: Wear your pajamas.

🔢 Every Day Counts Thursday, 9/17: Wear numbers, jerseys, or anything featuring numbers.

❤️ We Love You Being Here Friday, 9/18: Wear red, hearts, or a love-themed outfit.

Wednesday, September 16, will also be our first Dojo Frenzy and House Point Day!

Every K–5 student who is present will receive 10 bonus Dojo points. Middle school houses will earn one House point for every member present.

Tiger Kim's Tae Kwon Do

Representatives from Tiger Kim's Tae Kwon Do in Harrisburg will be visiting each PE class this week to provide an introductory lesson.

Follow up lesson will be offered after school the week of September 21st for any interested students. More information to follow.

Technology Fee Reminder

This is a reminder that the annual Technology fee of $30 is due. Technology fees for the 2026-27 school year may be paid through the K-12 Payment Center or by cash or check. The Cabarrus County School board authorized a $30 technology fee for all students to help with the repairs and upkeep for our student devices.

Jr. Patriots Cheer Camp

HRMS is hosting a Jr. Patriots Cheer Camp this Fall with their Football Cheerleading Squad.

This is an exciting experience for 4th and 5th grade cheerleaders! Participants will enjoy a fun-filled 3-hour cheer clinic on Saturday, October 3rd, 2026, 9am - 12pm, where they’ll learn cheers, chants, and basic cheer & stunting skills led by the HRMS Football Cheerleading Squad and coaches.

Campers will get the opportunity to cheer with the HRMS squad on October 7th on the sidelines for half of a Patriots football game including halftime!

Each participant will receive a Jr. Patriots Cheer Camp t-shirt and a bow to wear and keep. This program provides a safe, energetic environment where kids can build confidence, learn teamwork, and have a blast cheering for the Patriots!

Only 22 spots are available. Spots are secured once you have paid.
