Each week, this newsletter will keep families informed about important dates, school activities, and special opportunities for students. Our goal is to ensure you have all the details you need to support your child’s learning and engagement on campus. Stay tuned and stay involved as we soar through another fantastic week together!

Important Dates

August 31st - School Store Fundraiser begins

September 4th - Early Dismissal at 12 pm

September 7th - Labor Day Holiday, No School

Early Dismissal - Friday, September 4th

Families, please mark your calendars! Royal Oaks follows the Restart Calendar, and Friday, September 4th is an Early Dismissal Day.

⏰ Dismissal is at 12:00 PM.

A few important reminders:

🚌 Transportation Changes: Please communicate any changes to your child’s regular transportation plan with the school ahead of time.

🚗 Car Rider Pick-Up: Anyone picking up a student in the car rider line must have a Royal Oaks car rider tag. If you do not have a tag, you will be asked to park and go inside the school to verify your ID before your child can be released.

Thank you for helping us make early dismissal safe, smooth, and efficient for everyone!

School Store Fundraiser

Your student is coming home with school store fundraiser information. Once they sign up and receive a special code, they will receive a huggie pet.

The money raised from this fundraiser helps buy needed technology and supplies for teaching and learning. Our teachers benefit greatly from the gift cards and are able to buy supplies for their classrooms.

Friday, September 11th is the last day to turn in codes for huggie pets.

Cabarrus County Fair Education Night Tickets

Our wonderful partners at Cabarrus County Government are once again sponsoring an Education Night at the Cabarrus County Fair. All Cabarrus County students will receive a ticket for free admission on Wednesday, September 16th.
