Device Collection for 2nd through 8th Grade

Students in grades 2–8 are issued Chromebooks for school use. While some grade levels keep their devices at school, others bring them home during the year.

As we approach the end of the school year, please review the Chromebook collection schedule below and ensure your child brings both their Chromebook and charger to school on their assigned day:

📅 Monday, May 18: Grades 5–8
📅 Tuesday, May 19: Grades 2–4

Important Reminders:
  • Chargers must be returned with the Chromebook. Missing chargers will result in a $40 fee, which will remain on the student’s account until paid (similar to library or cafeteria fees).

  • Chromebooks that are not returned will result in a $400 fee. This fee will remain on the student’s account and must be paid before graduation.

Thank you for your support in helping us collect all devices efficiently!

📢 EVENTS THIS WEEK: Raptor Safe App

Reminder: Please download and set up Raptor Safe if you plan to attend any of our events this week!

We’re excited to share a simple way to make your visits to our school faster and more secure! Parents and guardians are encouraged to download the Raptor Safe App, which allows you to create a Raptor Passport ahead of time. This will help expedite the sign-in process when attending school events or visiting campus.

📲 Download the app here:

⭐ Important for Upcoming Events:
During special events such as Artie Parties, Awards Ceremonies, and End-of-Year Celebrations, we will have a “Fast Track” line at the front entrance for visitors who have a Raptor Safe QR code ready.

➡️ Visitors without a Raptor Passport will need to:
  • Present a government-issued photo ID
  • Go to the front office
  • Wait in line to use one of our verification computers
🚫 Please note: We will not have a paper sign-in sheet. All visitors must use the Raptor system, as safety is our utmost concern.

Once you download the app, please follow the attached directions to set up your Raptor Passport before your next visit.

Thank you for helping us keep our school safe while making check-ins quicker and easier for everyone!

If you have any questions or need assistance, please reach out to Mrs. Eller on ParentSquare or by email at ashley.eller@cabarrus.k12.nc.us
